Like all of Cold Steels products it is a quality product. They are accurate, come well packaged, and sharp. For the average hunter it is a super dart and I recommend it. However, on the negative said I would like to point out that it is relatively heavy resulting in a greater trajectory. Penetration is restricted due to the fact that the cone, unlike the Mini Broad Head dart, will not strip off allowing the dart to continue its course once the cone makes contact with the target. The cone on the Razor Tip is semi permanently attached to a knurled shaft end, restricting the penetration to no more than 4¾”. The metal is arguably soft. I have bent the point using stacked newspapers as a backstop. This is better than breaking a brittle point. The dart was designed for game and will give no problem there. My hand made darts with a #11 razor point will penetrate deeper and shoot flatter. They are of my design and are unlike anything I have seen. Also, they are time consuming to make. The Razor Tip dart is more convenient to obtain, and aside from ballistics should give superior results to other darts on the market.
